Marseille defender Patrice Evra was sent off in his club’s Europa League match against Vitoria this morning after kicking one of his own fans in the head.
Evra was warming up ahead of the clash in Portugal when he lashed out at his own fans who had gathered behind the advertising hoarding.
The 36-year-old was named as a substitute for the game, meaning that Marseille could start with the full complement of 11.
