Former top 10 draft pick Jack Scrimshaw has been traded to Hawthorn.

Scrimshaw will move to the Hawks alongside the Suns' 2019 fourth-round pick.

In return, Hawthorn will give up their 2019 third round pick.

Scrimshaw was selected with pick seven in the 2016 AFL draft.

He played four games in 2017, averaging 10 disposals and two rebound 50s a game, but failed to play an AFL game in 2018 under Stuart Dew.
