Footscray has pulled off a remarkable comeback in the VFL today, booting eight goals to two in the last quarter to run over Frankston 13.13 (91) to 13.3 (81).

The Dogs were as much as 32 points down late in the third quarter and didn’t lead at all until Lukas Webb goalled at the 27 minute mark of the last term.

A late goal to Mitch Hannan stretched the lead to 10 points in what would have been a sickening blow for Frankston.

Million dollar man Tom Boyd kicked three goals for Footscray, while Hannan booted two.
