Oscar De La Hoya hasn't made it a secret he's not too happy with the huge fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

The bout is scheduled to go off tomorrow, and ahead of today's weigh in De La Hoya made his displeasure well known.

"F**k you #MayweatherVsMcGregor," he wrote on Twitter.

"Both of you are disrespecting the the sport of boxing."

UFC president Dana White was quick to retort on Twitter, asking if he was "snorting coke and drinking booze again".

De La Hoya fought Mayweather back in 2007, in what was at the time the most lucrative fight in boxing, with over $130 million in revenue generate as Mayweather won via split decision.

He has ripped into the upcoming fight previously, hitting out on Facebook back in May.

“If you thought Mayweather/Pacquiao was a black eye for our sport — a matchup between two of the best pound-for-pound fighters that simply didn’t deliver — just wait until the best boxer of a generation dismantles someone who has never boxed competitively at any level — amateur or professional," he wrote.

Part of his distaste is the attention it has taken attention away from the fight between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.
