A man in his 30’s has been airlifted after he was in a car accident involving 2 trucks and a car on the New England Highway near Dalveen this afternoon.
It is believed that one truck rear-ended another at road works on the stretch of highway between Warwick and Stanthorpe, causing the first truck to shunt the car in front of it. The man in the car sustained lower body injuries and was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital by the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter in a stable condition. Four other patients involved in the accident were taken to Warwick and Stanthorpe Hospitals by Queensland Ambulance Services.Image: RACQ LifeFlightImage: RACQ LifeFlight
