Firearms and Drugs Uncovered North of Coffs Harbour

Police have uncovered a range of firearms and drugs in a search of a property at Kungala, north of Coffs Harbour.

On Tuesday, 19 September 2017, officers from the Coffs Clarence LAC commenced an investigation into allegations of a serious domestic violence incidence at a Kungala house in Omega Drive.

A 26 year old Kungala man was arrested over the matters on Thursday, 21 September 2017.  He was charged with domestic assault and traffic offences, and bail refused by police to Coffs Harbour Court on the 22 September 2017.

On Friday, detectives attached to the Coffs Clarence Command executed a search warrant at the Omega Drive address.

During the search, it's alleged that Police located a Adler A-110 shotgun, paintball gun. ammunition, cannabis, methylamphetamine and various prescription medications.

An 18 year old woman from the address was arrested at the scene and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

The 26 year old man was arrested after being released on bail at Coffs Harbour Local Court.

Both have been charged with firearms and drug offences, the 26 year old man was bail refused by police to Coffs Harbour Local Court on 23 September 2017.

Meanwhile, the 18 year old woman was given conditional bail to appear on the 16 October 2017.
