Fire station officially open

Locals give it a thumbs up

5 May 2017

After 80 years at Collie Street in the Albany CBD, the Albany Fire Station has moved to bigger premises on North Road that will future proof the service for at least the next 40 years. Equipped with the latest technology, the Albany Fire Station is an important land mark for the region and was officially opened by new Fire and Emergency Services Minister Fran Logan on Thursday quite fittingly for International Firefighters Day.

I had a chat with Superintendent Wayne Green from DFES and Minister Fran Logan about the new station.
