A mother and her two children have escaped from their Harristown home after a fire broke out on the weekend.
The blaze happened yesterday afternoon starting on the bottom lever of the two storey home.
The family and their pets were able to flee the inferno and fire crews managed to contain bottom level fire.
The family were taken to hospital for assessment.
