Essendon Has Reportedly Poached Richmond's Football Manager

Essendon has poached Richmond football manager Dan Richardson, according to the Herald Sun.

Richardson is set to replace Rob Kerr, who left the role in October.

He had been the General Manager of Football at Richmond since early 2013, taking over from Craig Cameron.

Prior to that he had been an associate director at management company Elite Sports Properties.

He is the son of triple premiership Tiger Barry Richardson.

Richardson will start in the role early next year.
