Eddie McGuire told a story this morning on The Hot Breakfast of his flight from Los Angeles to Sydney that had a mid-air scare.

An incident involving two Qantas jets forced one of the flights to take a 10-second nosedive over the Pacific Ocean - believed to be caused by a vortex or 'wake turbulence'.

LISTEN TO EDDIE SPEAK HERE:

"Somebody described it as the feeling of going over the top of a rollercoaster, slightly, not the fall — just a little, ‘what’s going on there?’," Eddie said on Triple M this morning.

"There was a little bit of turning of the plane as well and a little bit of downward.

“It was one of those ones that got your attention. Then it levelled off.”

There is currently a review underway into the flight.
