Eddie McGuire has paid a touching tribute to footy commentary legend Mike Williamson on the Hot Breakfast this morning.

“He was the voice of football, but he also in so many ways brought the entertainment to football, so that it wasn’t just a boring call or a sterile call in the 50s and the 60s and the 70s.” Ed said.
“He actually brought it to life.”
Williamson was famous for many famous calls in footy, none more so than the iconic “Jesaulenko you beauty!” line in the 1970 grand final.
