The Saints confirmed the news this morning.

Roberton hasn’t played since round four last year, when he collapsed on field at Kardinia Park in a game against Geelong.

Coach Alan Richardson said Roberton felt “wonky” after the Saints’ JLT Series game against the Western Bulldogs, and tests confirmed it was linked to his heart issue.

Roberton has played 91 games for the Saints since coming across from Freo, where he played 37 games, in the 2012 off-season.
