Dustin Martin Has Absolutely Plummeted In Brownlow Medal Betting

After one solitary game in the 2017 AFL Season, Dustin Martin has firmed in Brownlow Medal betting.

On the back of a barnstorming 33-possession, four-goal game against Carlton, Dusty is now second-favourite behind Patrick Dangerfield to take ‘Charlie’ home.

Moves in markets are a reflection of money spent by punters, which suggests that Tigers fans are a little excited after last night’s Opening Round victory.

Major betting markets now have Martin at $7, behind Dangerfield at $6, with Marcus Bontempelli ($8), Nat Fyfe ($9) and Luke Parker ($12) rounding out the top five.

Martin finished third in the 2016 Brownlow Medal count, finishing with 25 votes, ten behind eventual winner Dangerfield (35).
