It was another busy night for Queensland Ambulance crews called to crashes across the Gold Coast.
Paramedics responded to reports of a single vehicle smash at Robina at 11.11pm on Wednesday.
The car had collided with a pole on Robina Town Centre Drive and Laver Drive.
A male patient in his 40s was suffering from neck and back pain, and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The incident came nearly two hours after a separate crash at Mermaid Waters.
QAS crews were called to the scene on Sunshine Boulevard at 9.18pm, where a vehicle had smashed into a tree.
The male driver sustained minor injuries and was also taken in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital.
