Dual Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has been attacked and injured in her own house in a home invasion.
Kvitova was at her home in Prostejov in the Czech Republic when a man apparently posing as a maintenance worker allegedly assaulted her, according to the New York Times' Ben Rothenberg.
The 26-year-old sustained knife wounds to tendons in her left hand.
Her injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
