The Western Bulldogs and Carlton have exchanged picks with just over an hour left in the trade period.
The Dogs just received picks 28 & 30 and a future second round selection for Carlton's for pick 16 and pick 40 .
Pick 16 means that the Dogs will have a selection in the first round of the draft or could use it to secure Josh Schache (Brisbane).
Pick 28 & 30 and the future second round pick will allow the Blues to trade for Darcy Lang (Geelong) and Matthew Kennedy (GWS).
Carlton are expected to target both of these players.
