13 year old Lucy has had one lucky escape!
The Welsh terrier has been rescued uninjured, after she fell nine-metres down a well in the Santa Monica Mountains in Malibu, while on a hike with her owners.
She was trapped for about 4 hours, with firefighters called to carry out a big animal rescue, one was lowered into the dirt to grab the dog who was brought up by a pulley system.
Despite this story having a happy ending, authorities are reminding pet owners to keep their dogs on a leash during hikes through the mountains.
