Police are appealing to the public for their assistance in relation to the identity of two people of interest.
Police report that between October 2 and October 6 2018, two people have attended a business located on the Warrego Highway, Plainlands - three times in total. They have used bolt cutters on all three occasions to cut the locks on vending machines before taking the coin boxes from five machines.
The offenders have caused significant damage to all vending machines, and then left the scene in a blue Mazda sedan (pictured below).
The Queensland registration plates 231XUX attached to the blue Mazda are expired and were previously registered to a different vehicle.
