Ditts Tells The Full Story Of The 2012 Port Best And Fairest After Kane Cornes Demands Investigation

Anyone who saw the back page of the paper will know that the Port Adelaide 2012 Best & Fairest controversy is a story that is going nowhere. Indeed, it has now blown up with winner that year Kane Cornes demanding an investigation into the award.

Cornes picked up the B&F award in 2012, but Ditts has mentioned several times, since that night eight years ago, how the voting was changed so they didn't give the award to a player who they would have had to pay out a bonus to. 

On this morning's Roo & Ditts, reacting to Cornes' understandable concerns about the handling of that situation, Ditts stood by his claims "100%".

He also stressed "It's not Kane's fault."

He went on to tell the full story of the 2012 B&F including witnessing the player's reactions to Cornes getting the award, and his discussion with a senior member of the Port staff who couldn't remember giving points to Kane Cornes in a game where he was awarded them.
