According to couriermail.com.au, Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce is no longer a New Zealand citizen.
Mr Joyce lodged an application to renounce his NZ citizenship, and told Parliament that he has received verbal confirmation that the process is complete.
He is now waiting on the documentation to come through.
This follows a very messy citizenship issue that has arisen in Australian politics, with Labor now called on to release proof that five of their MPs are also not dual citizens.
