No Ferrari Move?

It was one of the wildest rumours in the paddock in Belgium.

Daniel Ricciardo could consider a move to Ferrari to drive alongside Sebastian Vettel in 2019.

But the Aussie snapped back at talk he'll partner the German a second time after dominating the four-time world champion at Red Bull three seasons ago.

After firmly establishing his place in Formula 1, Ricciardo says a Scuderia shift hasn't even crossed his mind.

"I haven't thought that far ahead to be honest, in terms of what the quality would be like if I was there," the Australian told Sky Sports News.

"Obviously I'm in a position where I believe I should be fighting for the front."

"If a team said 'we'll sign you but you're going to play bridesmaid to this guy,' 100 per cent I'm not signing there. It's something you'd talk about in early negotiations."

One thing's certain.

Kimi Raikkonen will be the guy driving alongside Vettel in 2018 after signing a one-year Ferrari deal for the third year running.

Vettel's new three-year contract means he'll be turning a Prancing Horse at least until 20-20.

Ricciardo's getting ready to push for another podium at this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, just a week on from his 3rd place in Belgium.
