Former Collingwood star Dane Swan has miraculously announced a return to footy.
In a video posted by Sportsbet this morning, Swan - who retired last year - has declared he wants to play for Collingwood again.
"I'm ready to go, we need to make this happen somehow," he said.
"I've watched the Pies over the last couple of weeks and they've been very competitive, but they could use a wily old veteran up forward that could driest some of the young kids and just try and help the side.
"Get me going, Ed. Could be pretty dangerous up forward."
Sadly, this is almost certainly an April Fool's gag.
"I think after Coachella I'm ready for footy, so hopefully the Pies get me back...thanks guys, see you out there on the 'G."
