Triple M's Damian Barrett says he "can't see" Ken Hinkley coaching Port Adelaide next season.
The club, after a sustained period of finals contention, has slumped down the ladder to an 8-12 record this season, following a 0-5 start.
And Barrett believes the time may be up.
"I reckon it's a looming story, this one," he began on Triple M's Rush Hour.
"He just may have taken this team as far as he can take it. And that's not a slight on him, that's not a criticism of him. He's got them to three preliminary finals, the two previous seasons there were preliminary finals.
"I don't see Ken Hinkley being coach next year...I feel it'll be Ken's decision as much as David (Koch)'s and the club itself."
And Damo has an indication of where Hinkley could end up next season.
