Damian Barrett says Geelong needs to make some "tougher decisions" on their list, not just for 2022 but to future-proof it beyond next year.
Geelong crashed out in a preliminary final, the year after topping up their list with Jeremy Cameron, Isaac Smith and Shaun Higgins following their grand final loss to Richmond in 2020.
"I think there needs to be some tougher decisions made on some players," Barrett explained on Triple M's Rush Hour.
"I don't claim to know what has to happen now with Gary Rohan and (Luke) Dahlhaus and some other players of that type.
"What they do with Jordan Clark, who just simply cannot get a look in. Quinton Narkle, they've just chosen not to play despite being fit and despite having injuries."
