Big injury news

13 May 2017

Hawthorn superstar Cyril Rioli has limped off from the Hawks' game against Brisbane at University of Tasmania.

Rioli jumped with his knee out in to Josh Walker’s back late in the third term and landed awkwardly, hurting himself in the process.

Watch it here:

Rioli had to limp off the ground and was monitored closely by the Hawks medicos.

He then had ice applied to his left knee.

The Hawks also lost defender Ben Stratton to an injury at the same time, meaning they only have two on the bench for the last quarter.

They currently lead Brisbane 11.11 (77) to 7.7 (49) early in the last term.
