Geelong forward Cory Gregson will miss the rest of the season after another operation on his navicular bone.
Gregson has suffered a recurrence of a stress fracture in the navicular bone in his foot, the same problem that has plagued a promising career to date.
The club confirmed on Tuesday afternoon he has had a screw inserted across the stress fracture in his navicular.
Gregson had played 10 games this season for Geelong.
Nakia Cockatoo will also require further advice on a PCL injury suffered in the VFL.
"This might upset a few people!" Andrew Jarman has picked his end-of-season top eight on Triple M Adelaide.
