North Melbourne defender Daniel Nielson has signed a contract extension.
The club confirmed the 21-year-old had signed a one-year extension, keeping him at the club until the end of 2018.
“It’s nice to know the club wants me there and sees me there in the future,” he told the club's website.
Nielson made his debut this season, playing seven straight games from round 16 to round 22.
He was concussed and stretchered off last week, during the clash with St Kilda.
He was drafted with pick 25 in the 2014 AFL draft.
