Conor McGregor has been charged by the NYPD with assault and criminal mischief following the incident that occurred during a media day in preparation for UFC 223.
The NYPD confirmed the 29-year-old has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief.
He will front a judge at 7am New York time (9pm AEST).
"McGregor has been charged with three counts of assault and one of criminal mischief," said a NYPD spokesperson.
