Albany Detectives have been working closely with local police stations within the area to establish target addresses linked to offenders in possession of stolen firearms.
Detectives are closing monitoring information provided by the community through Crime Stoppers to address suspicious activity.
Detectives have been co-coordinating search warrants throughout the area resulting in the seizure of a number of firearms.
Results
- Detectives have seized approximately 80 grams of methamphetamine
- Detectives seized approximately 1000 rounds of assorted ammunition, including high powered ammunition for SKS semi auto assault rifle
- Detective seized firearm accessories such silencers and manuals to assist in converting high power rifles to fully automatic.
