Men at Work frontman Colin Hay has announced this morning his down under tour is expanding due to popular demand.
Not wanting the shows to be an overkill, the Scottish born singer-songwriter has announced a 2nd and final show in Melbourne as part of the Fierce Mercy Tour, 2018.
Best known as the frontman of Aussie hit makers Men at Work, he has received huge acclaim as a solo artist.
Alongside the thoughtful storytelling in his songs, Hay’s shows are peppered with hilarious anecdotes from his, often surreal, experiences in the world of rock music.
The Fierce Mercy Tour sees Colin return to Australia with his US Band – on guitar, tres and vocals, Cuban, San Miguel Perez, with fellow Cuban Yosmel Montejo on bass and vocals – Scheila Gonzalez on keyboard, flute, sax and vocals – Cecilia Noel, percussion and vocals – and Jimmy Branly on drums.
This line up of international flavours, added to Men at Work and Colin Hay songs, will delight audiences with Latin infused rhythms and sweet harmonies.

General public tickets for the new Melbourne Recital Hall show go on sale at 10.00am local times, Monday, 13 November 2017. On Friday, 10 November exclusive pre-sales for Colin Hay fan club members and Ticketmaster members will begin at 10.00am and close at 9.00am on 13 November.
