A number of Gundagai residents were evacuated early yesterday, after an LPG truck delivering gas to a property lost control while reversing down a steep driveway, coming to a halt just metres from homes.
It happened at about 8am, though emergency services were working for 6 hours at the scene, with precautions in place, in case the truck shifted and crashed into an adjacent house.
Work health and safety is looking into the incident.
