Champion Data has run through their predictions for 2018, simulating the entire season.
It's good news for Collingwood fans.
The league's stats gurus have the Pies finishing seventh on average, with a 63% of making the top eight and a 15% chance of finishing top four.
They've simulated the 2018 season 100,000 times based on their team and player rankings to come out with the result, which seems like it'll have the Pies in finals more often than not.
The top places go to Adelaide, Sydney and Port Adelaide, who each have between a 27% and 30% chance of finishing top two. GWS rounds out a top four while other finals spots most likely go to Richmond, Geelong and Melbourne in an evenly-spread mix of teams.
