Champion Data has ranked each club’s draw from hardest to easiest, with Collingwood looking at the toughest draw while St Kilda’s is the least difficult.
The Pies’ double up matches against the other three sides that featured in the preliminary finals — Richmond, Melbourne and West Coast — is what makes their draw so tough, while three of St Kilda’s return fixtures are against some of the lowest ranked clubs in Fremantle, Gold Coast and Carlton.
Champion Data based their rankings on the 2018 points differentials for each club, which is why Geelong is ranked as a tougher fixture than Collingwood.
