Jack Silvagni has been cleared of structural damage to his shoulder, but is not expected to play against the Magpies this weekend.

During Carlton's win over Sydney at the MCG on Saturday, Silvagni collided with Swans midfielder Zak Jones.

He played no further part in the game, but scans have confirmed that he will not miss a significant part of the season.

Jacob Weitering was another injury concern for the Blues with a corked thigh, but he is expected to take on the Pies in a big Round 7 fixture.
