Carlton has thumped Melbourne in their AFLW practice match at Visy Park on Saturday morning.
The Blues led all day in what was a tight tussle to begin with, with just three goals scored between the sides in the first three quarters.
But they piled on six goals in the last quarter in a dominant finish, running out 43-point victors, 8.4 (52) to 1.3 (9).
Darcy Vescio and Nat Exon both kicked two goals each for the Blues.
The AFLW season kicks off on February 3.
