The Blues blokes lined up to give the women a guard of honour as they ran on to the ground for their first home match — a move that suggests the club is well aware of the historic occasion.
The gesture from the mens team hasn’t helped the Blues so far —they trail 1.0 (6) to 2.1 (13) at quarter time.
