Police and RFS crews were at the scene of a single vehicle accident at Karangi.
Just after 2:30pm a sedan heading east along Coramba Road left the roadway, mounted the footpath and collided with a fence.
The vehicle is off the roadway just prior to the Upper Orara Rd turn off, with motorist advised to take care while driving through the area.
A tow truck was at the scene shortly before 3pm to load the vehicle and clear the site.
A school zone sign has also been damaged in the crash.
The male driver was not injured.
