A lucky escape for a driver in Lavington this morning, when his car burst into flames after crashing into a tree in heavy fog.
The accident occurring on Burrows Road around 9am, with police saying the driver lost control and was trapped inside the vehicle for a short time.
Emergency service officials arrived quickly on scene, rescuing the man from the burning vehicle.
Investigations into the accident are continuing.
