A man arrested as part of a major drug operation at Colinroobie last year has walked free from Griffith Local Court, after the charge against him was dropped.

Fairfax reports 55 year old Pasquale Romeo was one of three men arrested after Strike Force Elkmon police allegedly uncovered a cannabis crop while searching a farm.

Mr Romeo was accused of one count of taking part in the cultivation of a large commercial quantity of cannabis, but Magistrate Boulos dismissed all charges during his court appearance late last week.
