On the March 25 between 4pm and 7pm, a satchel bag was stolen from a business located in James Street, South Toowoomba.

Following the theft, several fraudulent transactions were committed on VISA debit cards that were in the stolen bag.

Fraudulent activity has occurred at a number of businesses in the Toowoomba and Dalby area within a short period of time.

Police are hoping to identify two people (pictured above) who may be able to assist them with their inquiries. The man has a scorpion tattoo on his right upper arm and is in the company of a blonde woman.

Both were seen getting into a black Holden Commodore (pictured below) with mismatched rims on the right side of the vehicle and false number plates attached; a black and white plate on the front, and a maroon and white plate on the rear.
