Broncos coach Wayne Bennett has ruled out Darius Boyd for Friday night's do-or-die semi-final against the Panthers.
Despite completing Thursday morning's Captains run, Boyd who has been battling a hamstring injury will be missing for the Broncos for the second consecutive week.
Broncos coach Wayne Bennett admitted Boyd needed to be at his 100% best to play in such a high-pressure game.
“He did the session but he doesn’t feel he will be at his best. It is important for him to be at his best in the position he plays," Bennett said.
