Gold Coast and Fremantle have struck a last-minute deal to see Brandon Matera become a Docker.
With seconds left in the trade period, the two clubs agreed on a deal.
Matera will move to the Dockers in exchange for a 2018 third-round pick.
It was the second trade the two clubs landed in the dying moments of the trade period, with Lachie Weller sealing his move to the Suns.
Weller was traded alongside pick 41 to the Suns in exchange for pick two.
