It's not every day you get to see two Grammy Award winning artists playing in the streets, but that's just what happened when Country/Americana singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile and Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl headed back to their street-jamming roots on the weekend.
The pair hitting a farmer’s market in Seattle with an impromptu bit of busking, to the extreme delight of gobsmacked onlookers.
In a video posted to Carlile’s Facebook page, the By the Way, I Forgive You hit maker can be seen taking lead on The Beatles’ classic “Let It Be,” while Grohl plays guitar and Carlile’s longtime collaborators Phil and Tim Hanseroth join in.
The scene of the busking get together was Seattles Pike Place Public Market, the same spot where Brandi used to busk before her took off.
