A 28 year old man who went missing while swimming in the Murrumbidgee River at Wagga on Sunday night has been located.
The man disappeared under the water shortly before 9pm at Wagga Beach, emergency services and volunteers have searched in the river from the water, the banks and the air each day since.
Personnel from the Volunteer Rescue Association located the man this morning near the Wiradjuri boat ramp, approximately two kilometres from where he was last seen.
Detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death on behalf of the Coroner.
