A bloke in Melbourne has managed to get his new Porsche impounded for speeding within 10 minutes of buying it.
The 37-year-old man from Yallambie in Melbourne’s north-east bought the 2013 Porsche Cayenne and took it straight to the Grand Prix Circuit in Albert Park to film himself driving.
Police pulled him over allegedly doing 100km/h in a 40km/h zone within 10 minutes of him purchasing it.
Highway patrol officers observed the bloke filming himself driving, then detected him 60km/h over the limit.
His car has been impounded for a month and he is expected be charged on summons with speeding and using a mobile phone while driving.
