Billy Brownless has shared a funny story about the late great Lou Richards on Triple M’s Rush Hour.
One Sunday, former Melbourne player Troy Simmonds participated in Lou’s Handball on the Sunday Footy Show.
Bearing in mind, Simmonds was known for being the owner of many pet snakes.
“Someone gave Lou real snakes out the back but he thought they were fake snakes,” Billy said.
“So he walks out with these snakes and goes, ‘Hey boys’, and throws them at Sam (Newman). And they’re bloody real snakes!
“Everyone sh.t themselves on the panel. Lou thought they were those plastic ones.”
Richards sadly passed away at the age of 94 on Monday.
