Whitsundays events
Tasty food fare and live entertainment are on the menu this Australia Day as part of the Great Australian Bites festival at Fairy Tree Park – Airlie Beach Foreshore. The day of festivities is from midday until 5pm and includes pop-up food stalls from local restaurants, live music by homegrown performers and iconic Aussie-themed activities.
Collinsville's community BBQ breakfast kicks off at 7am at the Collinsville community centre followed by the official ceremony at 9am
Bowen's community BBQ bunch starts at 12:15pm at the Merinda Village Hotel followed by the official ceremony at 1:15pm.
Proserpine's community afternoon tea starts at 3:30pm at the Proserpine RSL followed by the official ceremony at 4pm.
