Earlier this week, President Donald Trump announced that the US would be imposing tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.

This was a highly worrying situation for Australia given we export over $500 million worth of steel and aluminium to the US every year.

Naturally Australia’s foreign minister Julie Bishop had to crack out the biggest gun possible to secure a favourable deal — none other than the Great White Shark himself Greg Norman.

When Trump finally announced the details of the tariffs today, he made special mention of Australia being exempt from them:

All hail the Great White Shark.
