Aussie Tennis Star In Court With Kellogg's

Fight to use nickname commercially

8 June 2017

South Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis is battling Kellogg's over the right to officially call himself 'Special K'.

The $34 billion cereal company first lodged documents against the tennis star 17 months ago.

They're looking to block the 21 year old from branding his clothing and tennis wear after he attempted to trademark 'The Kokkinakis Special K'.

Apparently bad-boy duo Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios have been dubbed Australia's Special Ks.

A hearing will take place in Adelaide today.
