Daryl Braithwaite has had to cancel shows this week due to illness.
In a statement released on his Facebook page, he said it was sudden and hoping to make a speedy recovery.
The man famous for the song Horses was set to play at the Australian Open yesterday and shows in Victoria this week.
He's still scheduled to perform with John Farnham at Rottnest Island in March.
